A Gamockery of Justice is a quest.

Immediately after finishing the Absurd Dimensions quest, or talk to Court Playliff at [-13,-18] in Kerub Temple.

Step 1: A Gamockery of JusticeEdit

Ecalice runs the risk of being convicted for having eaten a Piece of Cake. You could prove useful in this story: your honour and honesty demand that you intervene in the trial. If you don't have either of those qualities, let's just say you're doing this to pass the time.
  • Head to the site of Ecalice's trial
  • Listen to the charge sheet
Drag select right then down from → to see spoiler.
Answer with "Listen to the testimony without intervening" to avoid fighting. If you answer with "Contest the punishment requested for cake theft" you will be attacked by a Great Game Knight, but the quest will still update either way.
  • Hear the first testimony
  • Give evidence to the Court
Drag select right then down from → to see spoiler.
You will be attacked by the same 3 monsters and the quest will still update either way.
  • Defeat the Great Game Guardians
This fight can be done with a team. You must defeat 1 Great Game Knight and 2 Great Game Guards. Try to keep the knight away or kill it quickly, as it can inflict devastating pushback damage.
Note that once you leave this area there seems to be no way to return, so you will no longer be able to join the previous fight to help anyone else.
Drag select right then down from → to see spoiler.
You must travel to the correct maps in order while Ecalice is following you. From the start, go right, up, right, right, right, up, up, up, then up the stairs. If you travel to the wrong map you will be attacked by Great Game monsters, then you will have to go back to Ecalice and start over from the beginning.
