Obtaining[]

Talk to Kaffra Keeper at [-22,33] inside the Tower of Brakmarian Orders (from the entrance, go up one flight of stairs, then to the right).
Dialog
Become a Knife Fighter.

I sent some Brakmarians to kill some of the Bontarian militia's Dragoturkeys and to steal from their provisions, but the idiots were scared off by the group of guards around the paddock. Afraid of being caught, they retreated and burnt the food warehouse on their way, leaving the Dragoturkeys alive and returning without a scrap of food for Brakmar. Our food supply has not been replenished.

Keep listening.

You must go to Astrub and find Raymond Santho, a merchant connected to Bonta. You must get him on our side by any means necessary.

Obey.

Step 1: Brakmarian No-Hopers[]

Since Brakmarian agents are useless, Kaffra asked you to go to Astrub and convince the Bontarian merchant Raymond Santho to resupply Brakmar.
You need to offer at least 1,000 Kamas. Choosing to threaten him gives you 1 Memo about threats but doesn't advance the quest.
Dialog

What do you want, you pile of Trool dirt? I'm an important Bontarian merchant, I don't have time to chat to your type.

Talk about a possible collaboration with Brakmar.

Even if the words that come out of your mouth are as horrid as your breath, I'll listen to you.

Threaten him.
Ask nicely.
Offer 100 kamas.
Offer 1,000 kamas.
Offer 2,000 kamas.

Hmm... Let me think on your offer. I don't care what you had to do to get this money, as long as you pay we can do business.
In fact, I'll give you a way to convince me.

Keep listening.

I haven't been able to sell my goods in Astrub because Mawy Ingalsse sells her cereals for less than I do. Her products also have a better reputation because of how she cultivates them. I can't go to her workshop without raising suspicion, but you should be able to go and resume negotiations with Emia Elliesol.

Learn more about the negotiations.

I plan to poison the well water which is connected to their groundwater. This will mean Mawy Ingalsse's next crops will be good for burning and Astrub's council will have to look for new suppliers. That's why I need Emia Elliseol's cooperation, and yours.

Ask how to convince Emia Elliesol.

A former prisoner working for me hid her loot in the fourth room of Moowolf Lair. Unfortunately for her, she wasn't able to go back and retrieve it. I want you to take care of it; the contents will be enough to convince Emia Elliesol. While you're in Astrub's fields, take the opportunity to poison the well with plenty of Scalding Poison.

You lose 1,000 Kamas (or 2,000, if you chose that option).
  • Find the loot hidden in the third room of the Moowolf Lair  [-23,0]
Click on the box in the middle of the room of the Moowolf Lair dungeon. You don't need to complete the dungeon.

Click on the small bucket next to the Well.
Knife Fighter well poisoning location
You lose 5 Scalding Poison
Dialog

Ahhh! There's no end to this harvest! Luckily for us peasants, this year's crop is gonna be a bumper!

Talk about Raymond Santho's proposal.

I just can't betray Mawy like that... She taught me all I know. I owe her so much.

Hand over Capri Zoner's Loot in exchange for help.

On the other hand, I need to learn to count on myself, and even I could have a bad harvest. Tell Raymond Santho that if there's an inquiry, I'll make sure that suspicions are cast elsewhere.

You lose 1 Capri Zoner's Loot.
Dialog

What do you want, you pile of Trool dirt? I'm an important Bontarian merchant, I don't have time to chat to your type.

Explain your actions.

Thanks to you I earned a cartload of kamas. You can tell your boss that I'm his man. I'll be staying in Astrub for a few days on business, so he can contact me when he likes.

Dialog
Raymond Santho collaborated.

You managed to convince him? Not bad at all. But while you were off playing tourist in Astrub, Bonta found a way to raise its grain production.
Bring me 20 Scurvion seeds, and this time, you'd better hurry. If not, you'll be in for a week of intensive training, and you don't want that.

Head out to look for scurvion seeds.
Dialog
Hand over the 20 Scurvion Seeds.

Well a one-legged turtle would have been faster than you but you're lucky that the other militiamen aren't back either. Well the only thing I can think of to annoy all the others is to appoint you to the rank of Knife Fighter. But don't be fooled your skills have nothing to do with it!

Thank the Master for the promotion and leave.
You lose 20 Scurvion Seed.
