The class modifier was a percentage penalty applied to base damage on weapon attacks, and depended upon the class and the weapon type in use.

Although present for many years, the modifiers were eventually removed in version 2.11, meaning any class may use any weapon without penalty.

The green fields were the best weapon for each class. Bluish fields are weapons with a 5% penalty and the rest have a 10% penalty. The green and blue ones were more effective in terms of damage for the class.
