Danathor is a reference to Denethor, the Steward of Gondor in The Lord of the Rings. Rimaraf, whom Danathor asks you to assassinate in the quest At Danathor's Service, is a reference to Faramir, Denethor's son ('Rimaraf' is 'Faramir' backwards).
