Obtaining[]

Talk to Sergeant Zlatzom at [-22,-24] in Rocky Roads, outside the Dimensional Voyagers' Tower.
Dialog

Hey you! Yeah, you! (your name)! Do you like travelling? Want to feel the wind in your hair? Do you feel like the world is small, way too small for an explorer of your calibre? Then I have just the thing for you!

Listen to the offer.

Have you ever heard of the Dimensional Voyagers? You must've! There are so many incredible stories about them! The Voyagers have decided to work together with worthy adventurers to explore distant worlds... And you seem to be exactly the type of person they need! So, what do you say? Are you ready to set foot in places you never dreamed existed?

Say that you're interested.

I knew you were going to say that! You're in front of the Voyagers' Tower, the building we use as our order's headquarters. Go inside and introduce yourself to Colonel O'Whel. We're counting on you, adventurer!

Head for the tower stairs.

Step 1: Enjoy Your Trip[]

Sergeant Zlatzom has invited you into the Dimensional Voyagers' headquarters. This visit will be the start of a fantastic adventure that will carry you far from home. You're not scared of a little adventure, are you?
Enter the tower.
Dialog

The Order is the only thing that stops the Krosmoz from slipping into chaos... Discipline, that's the secret of success! *does a military salute, snapping his heels together* What can I do for you, adventurer?

Say that Sergeant Zlatzom sent you.

So you're interested in helping the Order Errant in its mission of exploring the Divine Dimensions? Hey, no need to look so dazed! What did you think we were planning up here? Trips to Moon Island? Come on! We're opening up doors to the domains of the gods themselves – not with the aim of conquering them, of course, but in order to learn more about our universe.

Reply that you find their mission very noble indeed.

But watch out! Just because we attach the utmost importance to knowledge doesn't mean we're boring old bookworms! Exploration is as much about action as it is about thought and analysis. Any Voyager worth their salt is ready for all eventualities. *looks you up and down critically* I think you have potential... I'm sure we can find something for you to do. If you want to apply to become an associate of the Voyagers, you'll need to receive the Explorancient's approval. She's our guide, our leader, and the founder of the order. You're dismissed!

Go and speak to the Explorancient.
Dialog

The time has come for the people of the World of Twelve to set off and discover the other worlds all around them. Exploration leads to experience, experience leads to knowledge, knowledge leads to an understanding of the Krosmoz.

Introduce yourself.

Let me have a good look at you. I sense a great force within you. Are you prepared to pledge yourself to our cause? Are you ready to serve the Voyagers?

Say that you'll do your very best.

Of course, I'm not asking you to renounce any of your previous engagements or your allegiance to your deity. Many Voyagers do end up leaving the way of the Twelve, but their spiritual path is their own choice. All I ask of you is to keep your mind open and decide where you belong in your own time. So, can the Order count you among its allies?

Reply that you would be proud to help the Order Errant in its mission.

In that case, it's time for you to start your initiation! Colonel O'Whel will explain what exactly we expect of the agents we work with. See you soon, #1!

Bow respectfully and leave.
Dialog
Announce that the Explorancient has accepted your offer to help the Voyagers.

Good! In that case, I shall tell you all about your mission as an associate of the Voyagers. Creating portals to link this world with the Divine Dimensions is immensely complex. I won't bother explaining all the details, or else we'll be here until sundown; all you really need to know is that we use a technomagical generator to open the portals, and this generator runs on an utterly remarkable substance called Orichor.

Keep listening.

We need Orichor to travel to other worlds... And that's where you come in! I want you to supply us with this resource. We need tons of it, so everyone needs to take part!
Go and see Kyper the Collector, who's in charge of Orichor stocks within the tower, then head to the Portal Research Centre and report to Captain Gladis, who will give you your first mission. You can head to Enurado or even choose the Ecaflipus dimension, whichever you like. *waves you off with a lively gesture*

Say goodbye.
Dialog

Hi, adventurer! If you've got some Orichor in your bag, you can trust me to make sure it's put to good use. And naturally, the more you help us, the more generously you'll be rewarded.

Find out more about Orichor.

Nobody knows where this material with such extraordinary energetic properties comes from; all we know is that it's only found in the Divine Dimensions. The Voyagers need Orichor to power their portal generators, so in our eyes, it's a much more precious resource than gold or diamonds. When agents complete their missions correctly, they are rewarded in Orichor. Then they can go and speak to the collectors to choose their reward.

Ask if missions are the only way to get Orichor.

Sometimes you can harvest small quantities from dimensional monsters, but Orichor is pretty hard to spot. Only adventurers who have completed a certain number of missions are able to detect it.

Leave.
  • Find the map: Portal Research Centre  [-22,-24]
From the tower entrance, enter the red teleporter on the right side of the room.
Dialog

I can't take much time out to chat with you, adventurer – there are way too many new agents to train up! What is it?

Say that you're waiting to receive your first mission to go and discover Enurado.

Oh, did the colonel send you? Okay, I'll keep this simple. You're going to locate a portal that leads to Enurado, and use it to reach the Voyagers' outpost within the Divine Dimension. Once you get there, contact Sergeant Frinklan. Good luck!

Ask how to launch a search for a dimensional portal.

The search consoles are right under your nose. Choose the one that matches the dimension you need and activate the search system. Follow its indications carefully, try not to make too many errors, and be ready for anything: when a pathway to another plane of existence opens up in the vicinity, the disturbance gives some of the World of Twelve's creatures the willies. For that reason, it's common for Voyagers to be attacked just before the portal appears.

Keep listening.

One last thing. These dimensional portals don't stay open indefinitely. They fade away in time, and the number of explorers who can use them is limited. All the more reason to hurry...

Step toward the Enurado console.
Talking to Gladis starts the next quest, The Entrance to Enurado (choose the Say that you're waiting to receive your first mission to go and discover Enurado dialog option).
