Available Guides[]

  • Feca/Chance/1 - a bit outdated, yet still pretty good build with some hybrid suggestions.
  • Feca/Chance/2 - a decent guide, focusing on characteristics and spells.
  • Feca/Chance/3- an up-to-date guide, with strong equipment suggestions.

General Information[]

  • While softcaps have been standardised across classes, it is still recommended to scroll as much as possible, starting with Chance and then considering Wisdom, Vitality and other elemental characteristics.
  • The main offensive spells that this build focuses on are Bubble and Cloudy Attack. Although they're close/middle range spells, they can both benefit greatly from range bonuses, effectively allowing Chance Fecas to fight at long distances. Both spells, however, have a minimum range that can be problematic.
  • As the range of Bubble might be quite problematic, it's smart to scroll agility (or raise it with items) and buy the Release spell. Having an alternative close-combat attack (either a weapon or the Cloudy Attack) is also an option.
  • Paralysing Glyph is the water damage glyph, which is the main glyph associated with this build. Enemies will lose range while standing in the glyph area. The damage dealt by this glyph can be raised by placing points into Chance.
  • Glyph of Repulsion might seem pretty powerful, but it does require good tactics (and usually a team) to be used as one of main offensive spells - especially in PvP. Feca are highly customisable in terms of hybridising, which can add to the damage dealt by this glyph.

Key Spells[]

The table below suggests which spells are key to this build.

="text-align:center;"
Icon Name Level Element Description
Reinforced Protection Reinforced Protection N/A N/A Increases Glyphs' damage and Power. Deactivates the Feca's protection spells. As this spell disables your protection spells, learning when to use this in a battle is important.
Rampart Rampart 1 NA Reduces damage received from all elements. This is your main protection spell which scales with your level. It also protects allies to a lesser degree.
Bubble Bubble 6 Water Ranged Water attack that also reduces range. One of the key offensive spells of this build. It has a minimum range and cannot be used on enemies in close proximity to you.
Barricade Barricade 9 NA Prevents melee damage and boosts MP when hit at range. One of two immunity spells.
Cloudy Attack Cloudy Attack 21 Water Linear ranged Water attack that also steals Chance. This is the main offensive spell of the Chance build due to its high damage, but it is limited in its linearity.
Bastion (Spell) Bastion 26 N/A Prevents long range damage and boots Power when hit in melee. The other immunity spell.
Teleglyph Teleglyph 36 N/A Movement spell. Teleports the caster and triggers glyphs where you land. This can be used either offensively to deal glyph damage or defensively to put space between you and the enemy.
Glyph of Repulsion Glyph of Repulsion 42 FireWaterEarthAir Deals Fire, Water, Earth and Air damage. Contrary to most glpyhs, this works at the end of the turn of whoever is stood upon it. This glyph is difficult to use correctly and is more often used by hybrid Fecas.
Paralysing Glyph Paralysing Glyph 70 Water Water damage glyph that also reduces range. This can be used in conjunction with Bubble for intense range reduction.
Feca Shield Feca Shield 100 N/A Reduces damage taken. This is your second protection spell, which is percentage based in comparison to Rampart. The two can be used together.
Summoning of Feca Dopple Summoning of Feca Dopple 200 N/A Summons a Feca Dopple. Great for pretty much every Feca.
