Not so long ago, I used to come here to watch the multi-coloured fish between guard duties... but since all life has now gone from this place, all that's left is ghosts and a few fishbones in the cold waters of the aquarium.
Count Harebourg's quarters used to be in this part of the castle. When the ice covered Frigost Island, he took refuge in the Water Clock Tower... The Guard of the Day Without End arrived much later. They took over this place and turned it into barracks, but some things were left untouched.
Unfortunately, after decades of fighting against the Count's lieutenants, our vigilance and our weapons had lost their edge... Missiz Freezz launched a large-scale attack on the ramparts. We held them off for as long as we could. By the time reinforcements arrived, it was too late. We had all been slaughtered by the Armarines.
Since then, we've been haunting these walls, trying to come to terms with our deaths... Most of us have rallied behind Ilyzaelle's cause and fight the spectres who've invaded the barracks. As for me, I spend my time fishing for ghost fish, which I then release into the aquarium. They're trapped in this castle until the end of time, just like I am.
