Hmm, if I add 42 and 55, I get... a migraine, but also a clear advantage to win my bet! Hur hur hur, not long till I get that Cannonball, and a horde of babes to go with it!
Every week, I have a competition with my colleague, Disparate Don. The first one to reach 3,827 kilobuds wins a Bronze Cannonball! Yep, we're pre-e-etty popular, and we count our friends in kilopods...
Altogether, my friends-to-be need to weigh exactly 215 kilopods, wet or not. I've already got a few possible candidates lined up to be my best friends of the week. Go and see them and ask how much they weigh. Then we'll get the abacus out and see who the lucky winners are! So, bud, can I count on you?
Thanks, (your name)! Here, take this notepaper to record your findings. If you're allergic to maths, you could always go and ask Matt Hematik for a hand once you've collected all the info; he loves juggling with numbers! Don't take too long getting back to me, though, 'cos me and Don reset the challenge once a week. If you report back too late, the weights you've gathered won't count any more.

Step 1: Friends You Can Count On[]
- You have agreed to help an Ecaflip win a kinda stupid bet (aren't all bets stupid?). Get your thinking cap on and prepare for a little bit of maths. Don't forget to consult your notes as soon as they're complete. Matt Hematik's help will prove particularly useful, especially if you don't know how to add 2 and 2 together... If your answers really don't seem to add up, go and double check with Bo Pye that the bet's still on!
- The NPCs are listed in an optimal visiting order.
- Talk to L.O. DuhBrane
- Choosing Refuse to apologise to a Goblin and then Leave with a violent headache will give you the DuhBrane Boggler debuff (-800 Initiative for 20 fights).

Mpmpm vs b oppc.
You ignorant, impolite or fool, probably all three. Ask weight of Goblin, insult more than spit in his face. You apologise on double, or you feel DuhBrane Boggler!
You up now, me forgive. Me weigh 27 kilopods. 20 of them just for brain.
You ask for it! Me no fight, me just look you in eyes... And blam, headbutt in kisser. Nice.

- Talk to Tom Stone
- Choose the answer Reply "Two times the triple of my weight divided by six".

It's a beautiful day to die. Would you like to make a reservation? I still have a few spots left. You could wait until the last moment, but once you've crossed over you run the risk of being buried in the first grave available, or worse, in the common grave. It'd be a shame to neglect your wishes through sheer laziness!
I don't weigh much; I don't even have any skin on my bones. How much do you weigh?
Ahh... Sounds about right! I see you like talking in riddles. That used to amuse me, too; I would intone them in a deathly voice, but since there's not usually anyone around, I soon tired of it. And then, obviously, the whole cemetery caretaker telling riddles thing is totally cliché and outdated. One of my cousins guards a fort, though, and he doesn't mind at all. He decks himself out in a special costume to fool the oldies that come to visit. Apparently, one day, he...
Oh, you're in a hurry! Dang, that sure is you living people's problem! Anyway, I'll give you an answer if you bring me a Billabone Cemetery Relic. The tombs and remains are often raided in these parts, and I like to put things back in their rightful place.
Thank you! Well, I suppose I can tell you now that I weigh all of 5 kilopods. I know what you're thinking - I really need to put on some weight! I guess I could do with drinking a bit more Mimilk to make the old bones a bit stronger. /
I understand. I suppose you'll take it with you to the grave!
Aha, I see you've taken some classes with Matt Hematik! I find his theories very interesting, but not very realistic. I'm much more down-to-earth. In any case, you should try recalculating... You seem to have made a mistake, or maybe you're just in denial.
Oh, sure - and I weigh 666 kilopods! A corny answer like that isn't going to get you anywhere in the World of Twelve, you rascal!
|
- Requires 1 Billabone Cemetery Relic.
- Talk to L.O. Kiti
| Dialog |

|
Hello. The Paleozoi Crater, which you see before you, is home to a number of crystal mines unlike any other in the World of Twelve. It's a real archaeological treasure and Enutrofs flock from all around to study its gems.
But... But... You shouldn't ask a young lady such questions! And being a tourist is no excuse at all!
Hmm... Well, I suppose something veeeery special could make me change my mind. I love collecting minerals - that's why I came to work here on Vulkania! See if you can find a Black Stone of Vulkania for me.
Thank you, this stone is magnificent. And in answer to your question, I weigh 33 kilopods. /
Ha! I wasn't born yesterday, you know! Let me get on with my work, you little cretin, and go bother someone else with your stupid surveys.
|
- Requires 1 Black Stone of Vulkania.
- Talk to Nevark the Hunter
- You will need to give him 1 Sauroshell Figurine.
- If you choose Say you'll fight him for the answer, you are teleported to and receive the Knocked for Six debuff (-50 Wisdom and -200 Initiative for 5 fights): Nevark catapults you into the air. You're okay, but your jaw and your pride have taken a knock..

Warning!
Ooh, I bet you'd love to have my body, right? When you fight against ferocious monsters every day, you've got to have the muscles to match!
I don't tend to share information like that, in case my enemies use it to my disadvantage. If you know your enemy well enough, you're halfway to bringin' him down!
Hoho, so if you fail to get something using force, you try another way, do you? It's good to see someone who doesn't give up easily, for once. Bring me a Sauroshell Figurine to add to my trophy collection.
Very well, you've brought what I asked you, so I'll keep my word. You stand before 123 kilopods of oiled, rippling muscle. Impressive, right? /
---
Ha ha ha! Get real, tourist! My right hook could send you to the other side of the island in a matter of seconds. You won't know what's hit you!
|
- Requires 1 Sauroshell Figurine. Go to in Ponifar Forest and talk to Denise Nerdey to cross into the village where Nevark is.
- Talk to Dina Tapio

Don't come too close, or you'll frighten my Madreggon. He's not completely tame yet. I don't want him to feel threatened and rip one of your arms off to calm himself down.
Around 659 kilopods, which is probably a sign of good health.
Well it's the weight you'll have to deal with if me and my Madreggon decide to jump on your head! Why exactly do you want this information, anyway?
|
- Talk to Ju-ju
- At , talk to 5-O Steve McGritt to be teleported to Bar Racuda, then enter the building.

|
Hello! Can I help you? A nice cool Corktail? All of our drinks are made to order and our seafood is caught fresh every morning.
62 kilopods - it's more or less my ideal weight! /
|
- Talk to Vanda-Lou
| Dialog |
|---|
|
Welcome to Bar Racuda! We have a whole range of local specialities to offer you, and to wash it down, just ask Ju-ju to prepare you a Corktail - they're all delicious!
Well, with regular exercise and a balanced diet, I've nothing to worry about: 59 kilopods. Light as a feather, right? /
|
- Talk to Bo Pye again
- You can guess once every 5 minutes. You will receive 1 Marked Card for each guess you make, losing them all at the end.

Hmm, if I add 42 and 55, I get... a migraine, but also a clear advantage to win my bet! Hur hur hur, not long till I get that Cannonball, and a horde of babes to go with it!
Okay, so what's the verdict? Who weighs just the right amount to be my best buddy this week?
*shows you the list*
Okay... Take this playing card. I've written the name you told me on it. Next!
... Okay... Take this playing card. I've written the name you told me on it. Next!
... Okay, I've written that name on the third card. Let's see what we've got - show me the other cards.
Perfect - 215 kilopods exactly! You did good, kid! Disparate Don is going to have to keep wearing his seaweed swimming trunks - that's the outfit the loser has to wear. Thanks for your help! Here are some kamas as a reward. And if I haven't already given you one, you can have a Bronze Cannonball too.
Hmmm... I'm not sure about this. I'll do my best with the weights you've given me, but if I can't sort it out in the next 5 minutes, we'll talk it through again.

Notes[]
- You must identify the NPCs whose weights add up to 215 kilopods. The weights are noted on the Notepaper quest item, double-click it to see them all (when you have talked to all the NPCs).
- All characters on the same server will see the same weights at a given time; they change once a week.
- If you have problems with the calculations talk to Matt Hematik, he will cross out two names for free, leaving five left, and the 3rd name for 1 Emachus Corktail, leaving four left. If you still don't know the names, talk to Ada Blablage in Sufokia, pay 100,000 kamas and she will cross out the final name.
Answers[]
- There are 3 possible combinations of weights. The correct answers are listed here:
