Spells[]

  • Paralysis: Deals earth damage based on his HP and gives a player a poison for 1 turn, which deals air damage per AP used and fire damage per MP used. Cast twice per turn.
  • Funerary Substitution: Causes Gein to swap with a nearby Flame, and deals moderate fire damage in a 5 cell AoE where he lands, before attracting targets toward him.
  • Awakening of Lost Soul: Kills all summons and turns them into Flames of Lost Souls. Cast at the end of each players turn.

Strategy[]

  • All players will instantly die at the start of turn 11, which ends the fight.
  • By default Gein is invulnerable, unshakable and heavy. At end of its turn, it goes invisible and teleports symmetrically in relation of next character playing at start of their turn (for every character present on fight). If symmetric position is outside map, Gein returns to where it started its turn.
  • Any summon will turn into a Flame of Lost Souls at start of its turn, giving 2 ap to its summonner (stackable once). Hitting this flame will give you 5 ap (stackable once).
  • To make Gein vunerable (and visible), you must hit a Flame of Lost Souls within 2 cells of Gein. This effect lasts just until next character starts playing (thus each char must make Gein vunerable by its own). Gein gains 100 power everytime this happens.
  • It's recommended you write down cell where Gein started each turn and try to move all your characters to a wall oposite to cell where Gein started its turn, while leaving a flame near it. This will force Gein to keep being teleported to cell where it started his turn, thus letting job of making it vunerable easier.
  • If you lost track of its symmetric teleports, you can still try to reveal it using skills such Bat's Eye, Perception, Fyred Ampe's Pickaxe, etc. This won't make him vunerable, though.
  • At start of fight, Gein won't hit very hard, but as it stacks power boosts, it'll start dealing considerable damage. Characters which are under "Paralysis" poison should avoid using many APs/MPs (note: Gein can only apply this on melee range). Also, Gein can channel damage through each flame in a circle of radius 2, so avoid finishing you turn near them.
  • It is a good idea to bring summoning classes and classes which have AoE spells. Smaller maps are much more ideal when fighting Gein, but you can permalock him at initial position on long maps with pm removal and hugging the opposite wall.
