Hunter is a profession.
Hunters can gather meat and prepare it to make edible meat, they can also make Pet Ghosts and the First Part of the Dragon Pig's Maze Key.
As of Dofus version 2.29 it has been combined with the old profession of Butcher.
Equipment
Hunters have a chance to get meat drops only when they're wielding a weapon with the hunting characteristic during their battle. This characteristic is naturally present on Hunting Weapons, but it can also be added to any other weapon by a Magus with a Hunting Rune.
The hunting weapon is not required to be equipped to Prepare Meat at the Hunter Workbench.
The Hunting tools listed below can be crafted by level 1 Smith or Carver using ingredients gathered on Incarnam, and the Knife is a required craft to pass the quest Natural Products.
