Welcome to Vulkania, holiday-maker. I'm the one in charge of supplies. If you want to taste local delicacies prepared in your honour, you can get them at the Bar Racuda. Live long and prosper!
You request has been refused. I am in no way responsible for keeping this park in good working order, and I'm also in the frame after the theft of the Plimok supply. Providing you with a urine sample for your questionable analysis would be perfectly inappropriate.
Your proposal makes no sense. You don't find Plimok, you make it by mixing together different ingredients. I doubt you're qualified for something like that.
Your obstinacy is... fascinating. Very well, an impromptu participation, although impertinent, may well speed things up. First of all, you'll need to get three different types of salt. You can get these crystals from the Unchartered Isle. Once you've found enough of them, grind them all together to make a powder. Once you've done that, bring it to me.
|
Step 1: Out of Stok[]
- Catastrophe has struck! The Plimok reserve has been pillaged! You need to collect three types of salt and grind them down to obtain the precious powder used to prepare this local spice. Then you can ask Stok for the sample you need to continue your investigation.

Vulkan greetings, holiday-maker. Do you have what I wanted?
I'm no rock-grinding expert, so I'm afraid I can't help you. I reckon you could do with some advice from my cousin Stak, he knows a bit about all that. You can find him at Surf Beach.

- Talk to Stak [-55,43]

reetings, tourist. The surf activity isn't available at the moment, but Surf Beach is still open to the public. You can collect shells there, just don't go in the water or you might get swept away by the strong currents... Remember, drowning's forbidden.
Really? I just repaired it yesterday, one of the teeth was split. I must have used a little too much mastic... But no need to panic. To unhook the grinder's jaw, you just need a good Abrasive Corktail. Go to the bar and ask Ju-ju to make you one. Say I sent you.
|
- Ask Ju-ju for an Abrasive Corktail
- Talk to 5-O Steve McGritt at [-46,44] to be transported to Bar Racuda at [-44,44]. Enter the building and talk to Ju-ju.

Hello! Can I help you? A nice cool Corktail? All of our drinks are made to order and our seafood is caught fresh every morning.
Okay, coming right up! Give me a moment or two... ta-da! Use in moderation, in a well-ventilated area... and whatever you do, don't drink it, unless you're in a hurry to see Tom Stone.
|
- You receive 1 Abrasive Corktail.
- Fix the salt grinder
- Grind the Salt Crystals
- Click on the grinder again.
- You receive 1 Ground Salt Crystals, and lose 1 Alyda Salt Crystals, 1 Bah Salt Crystals, and 1 Summer Salt Crystals.
- Talk to Stok again [-50,45]

Vulkan greetings, holiday-maker. Do you have what I wanted?
Look at that. The fragments are all the same size and all three types of salt are present... Against all expectations, it would seem that luck has gone in our favour. We should be able to use this powder to make Plimok.
|
- You lose 1 Ground Salt Crystals.
- Ask Stok for a sample [-50,45]
Dialog |
---|
You really want that sample, don't you? Ok, then. Turn around please... I'm not used to relieving myself in front of tourists.
There you go. You've got what you wanted. One day you'll realise that having something in your hands isn't quite as pleasant as the anticipation of having it was. It doesn't make much sense, but that's often the case.
|
- You receive 1 Stok Sample.
- Finishing this quest updates the appropriate step in A Torturous Enquiry - Investigation.
Rewards[]
- Level-Based XP (Maximum: 3,249,999)
Trivia[]
