Offering for Ediva is the daily Almanax quest for December 28th.

Obtaining[]

Talk to Antyklime Ax at [-4,-24] inside the Temple of Scriptures.
Dialog

Welcome to the Almanax Sanctuary! Judging by how grey your clothes are, I'd say you've travelled a long way to get here... Unless, of course, you're a follower of Redfis, the god of Dust. Either way, welcome to our Temple of Scriptures! If you've come to pray to the Meridia and earn yourself some Almokens, you're in the right place.

Declare that you are ready to honour the Meridia.

I'm guessing you already know which deity we're worshipping today. It's been the talk of the town, and I'm sure you've heard the whispers.

Reply that it's... Ediva.

Spot on! Ediva is the Meridia of Greed. She's not exactly popular, but she does have loads of followers, and most of them are adventurers. I don't mean you, of course. I know you're the honest, noble type. *surreptitiously hides his pouch out of sight* As you can probably guess, she's especially appreciated by Enutrofs, Srams and Rogues. If you want to speak to the spirit of Ediva, you'll have to make her an offering.

Ask what you can offer to please Ediva.

The Meridia of Greed has been complaining that Father Kwismas didn't bring her enough stuff. Some Kwismas Gifts would be the perfect offering for her. If you don't feel like taking an uncomfortable boat trip to an island where Mini Inuits and Goblimps run riot, you'll need to start thinking about another way to get the offering for Ediva.

Go in search of the offering.

Step 1: Offering for Ediva[]

Today is the day of the Meridia of Greed. Antyklime Ax has asked you to make an offering. You accepted. It's always a good idea to grace a goddess, irrelevant of her importance.
Dialog
Hand over the requested offering.

I will offer this gift on your behalf, (your name). You may now go and pray before the altar found in one of the rooms of the seasons. If your devotion is pure and true, the spirit in charge of today will show itself. Come back and see me once you two have spoken.

Go and pray.

Dialog

I like your outfit... And what's in your inventory... And I would certainly put your kamas to good use. If you were a proper disciple, you'd hand them all over pronto...

Reply that you need them for your Zaap fare.

Ahhh, adventurers. You manage to be fiercely loyal followers and cut-throat competitors at the same time. It's crazy how much rubbish you manage to hoard in your inventory. You're almost as bad as me! It makes my heart ache to think of all the treasures nestled in other people's bank vaults that I'll never be able to touch... *sob* Thankfully, that dewy-eyed dolt Alikindoy manages to influence them from time to time, which earns me a freebie or two.

Ask who Alikindoy is.

She's the Meridia of Generosity. She sees me as one of her worst enemies. I don't see her as an enemy or a threat, because her power has no negative effect on me. She encourages mortals to hand their possessions out to all and sundry... and I'll never say no to a generous soul!

Agree that her plan is rather evil.

Alhera, the Meridia of Covetousness, gave me the idea. It's far easier to snatch treasures when they're passing from hand to hand than when they're locked up safe in chests. When you have an insatiable greed for everything, you have to make the most of the opportunities available. I'm as eternally discontent as Korri, but with even fewer scruples!

Check that there's nothing missing from your inventory, then leave.

(if you have a Dofus in your inventory)

Wait a second... Is that a Dofus bulging in your pocket? It... it is! I can see it! Give it to me! I, Evida, Meridia of Greed, Goddess of Five-Finger Discounts and Mistress of Vultures, order you to hand it over right away!

Refuse categorically.

GIVE IT TO ME! I'll swap you it for a... a... a pinch of Magical Cure! With a Gobball Leather thrown in for good measure! Graaarghhg! The Dofus... The precious Dofuuuus... Give me it! I WANT IIIIT!

Run away before she does something stupid.
Dialog
Reply that you have spoken to the spirit of the day.

So you managed to have a little chat with a being made of divine essence alone?! Isn't that extraordinary?! In the Almanax Sanctuary, this miracle happens every day! Here, take this in return for your devotion. And don't forget to come back tomorrow to meet another Meridia!

Say thank you and leave.
