Welcome to the Almanax Sanctuary! Judging by how grey your clothes are, I'd say you've travelled a long way to get here... Unless, of course, you're a follower of Redfis, the god of Dust. Either way, welcome to our Temple of Scriptures! If you've come to pray to the Meridia and earn yourself some Almokens, you're in the right place.
I'm guessing you already know which deity we're worshipping today. It's been the talk of the town, and I'm sure you've heard the whispers.
That's the badger! Emattera is the Meridia of Gas. He tends to appear in the most unexpected of circumstances, which almost always result in laughter. Engineers and Enutrofs take him very seriously all the same. If you want to speak to the spirit of Emattera, you'll have to make him an offering.
Solfatara Residue seems just perfect. The Solfatara is a gassy creature that lives in the Tears of Ouronigride region, on Frigost Island. But maybe you don't have the build to hunt over that way? Well then, you're going to figure out another way to take Emattera what he wants.

Step 1: Offering for Emattera[]
- Today is the day of the Meridia of Gas. Antyklime Ax has asked you to make an offering. You accepted. It's always a good idea to grace a god, irrelevant of his importance.
- Take 2 Solfatara Residue to Antyklime Ax [-4,-24]

I will offer this gift on your behalf, (your name). You may now go and pray before the altar found in one of the rooms of the seasons. If your devotion is pure and true, the spirit in charge of today will show itself. Come back and see me once you two have spoken.

- Pray before the altar of autumn [-4,-24]
- Talk to Emattera [-4,-24]

*pssssst* Hey, (your name). What's cooking? *fffffffff*
Come on, get real. I'm hardly Favarez! *pffftuu* If I wasn't here, you'd suffocate! Yep, I control all volatile bodies, including the air that you're breathing right now! *fffffttt* OK, fair enough, it's not always the best smell... Just tell yourself that it's 100% natural! *prrrp*
My, my, my and la-di-da! *pchitt* You wouldn't last long in the midst of a troop of stinky Gobballs... or at the bottom of a mine. Have you ever explored the Astrub tunnels? There are some real gas pockets down there, I'm telling you. The Enutrofs use Sniffallrats to detect them. *tchhhhh* The most dangerous vapours are those that you can't smell. Just light a match and... BOOM!
Haha! Scared, were you? Franho would've appreciated that! *parp* I've got a fair few friends amongst the Meridia, some nice like Gorzarel, who keeps trying to make me politically correct *parp*, and some not so nice, like the Meridia of Nausea and Putrefaction. But my favourite is Fry, the master of Fog... *pffft* He's always cooking on gas - finally, someone who understands me!

So you managed to have a little chat with a being made of divine essence alone?! Isn't that extraordinary?! In the Almanax Sanctuary, this miracle happens every day! Here, take this in return for your devotion. And don't forget to come back tomorrow to meet another Meridia!
