Osas are summoners. A strength Osa will need to focus on the summons that go best with earth: Gobballs. This build will focus on just that (be it very basic) to guide you on where to go if you're looking to be a summoning tank.

Unless in Gobball form, The Osamodas' characteristics do not affect those of their summons. When in Gobball form, the only stats that gets transferred are Strength, earth-type damage and neutral-type damage. Otherwise, their summons gain +1% Life and +1% to each of their stats per level of their summoner.

Most of your characteristics are going to be going into one of two places: Strength or Vitality.

  • Strength Your primary direct attacks are going to be Crackler Punch and Fossil. Both of these are earth-type attacks and therefore both are going to benefit from higher Strength. In addition, any weapon you use that is earth or neutral-type will benefit from Strength as well. When in Gobball form, 50% of your Strength, earth-type damage, and neutral-type damage will also go to your summoned Gobballs.
  • Vitality If you're going to be playing a tanky-type role and be up front-and-center you're going to need to stay alive. This is where vitality comes in. Depending on exactly how you play is going to affect how much you want to put here.
  • Resistances Though technically not a stat you can put points into, having higher resistances is going to be vital for melee combat. They more you have, the better off you will be.

Core Spells[]

These are your earth spells and your main spells for this build. You want these maxed out ASAP.

Support Spells[]

Though your core spells will get you off the ground, you'll need to support your team of summons using a few buffs.

Spell Progression[]

Ideally, you want to max out your core spells first. Once you've got your core set, start on your Buff/Control spells. With exception of Call to Order, I'd suggest leveling them in the order that you get them. Call to order is only useful if you use it.

Leveling guide[]

See the general Leveling guide.

Generally anything that is wear to earth/neutral is a good target. Even better if that target only has melee attacks. If you send in your Gobballs to tank the beast, then buff them up to keep them alive you should be fine.
