Notes[]

This spell inflicts neutral damage on your enemy based on a percentage (25%) of the caster's total HP. On a Critical Hit, this spell deals damage based on a higher percentage (30%).

Though the spell deals neutral damage, it is not boosted by Strength. Furthermore, Power increase nor +Damage effects do not increase Punishment's damage output. Damage output is entirely dependent on the caster's total HP.

Damage calculation now reflects a symmetrical bell curve with a peak at 50% HP, as shown here. A reference table is provided here. Both sources are from Ankama.

The exact formula is:

Where %max is written "25%" or "0.25" on a normal hit and "30%" or "0.3" on a critical; MaxLife is the max HP of the Sacrier at the time; %life is what factor of the Sacrier's healthbar is full at the time of casting. The cosine function is calculated in radians. As an example for a non-crit at 40% health on 5000HP:

This spell has an initial cooldown of two turns after starting a fight, and if revived by an Osamodas.
