Sets are groups of specific items which, when worn together, give various bonuses to the wearer. Generally, the more items in a Set which you equip, the larger the bonus.

Not every set in-game is a full-piece set, meaning most of them do not use every single equipment slot. Because of this, there is the possibility of combining different sets for various different boosts. It's also not necessary to wear a full set at all times, somebody can totally wear only two pieces of three different sets for the minimum bonus.

Characteristics[]

Every set has its own characteristics bonuses, usually with a focus a few elements and one or two other characteristics. The set bonus does not always correspond entirely with the stats of the individual pieces. For example, the set bonus could focus on Agility, while the hat of that set boosts Strength and the boots boosts Intelligence.

Overall, sets can boost every single characteristic currently present in the game, though only a few sets actually do so.

Each Class has a specific set which grants them unique spell bonuses. A list of these sets is available on the Class Set page. Except for the spell effects, which are applicable only to the class for which the set has been designed, all the class sets have the same characteristics.
