Removed Feature
The feature(s) mentioned on this page have been removed from the game, and are merely left on the Wiki for historical reasons.
For the new Potion that replaced all these different ones with a single potion, see Spell Deleveling Potion.
Spell Deleveling Potionss were a special kind of potion which allowed a character to lose levels in an unwanted spell, one level per potion used. The character would regain Spell Points equal to the used to raise the spell to its current level. For instance, using a spell deleveling potion for a level four spell would give back three Spell Points.
All spell deleveling potions were made unobtainable after the 1.27.0 update, though potions obtained before then were not removed (and some may even still be in game). This page is kept for historical purposes only. For up to date methods on unlearning a spell see Resetting Characteristics and Spells.
History[]
Originally all Spell Deleveling Potionss had to be made by an alchemist (often using expensive materials) as well as incuring a large fee. After the 1.13 update they were no longer craftable, instead they could be bought at class temples though they still incurred the large fees. The fees were significantly reduced with the 1.17 update, while the potions themselves were removed from sale from NPCs with the 1.27.0 update in favour of Doploon and Otomai spell resets.
Mechanics[]
Points regained based on current spell level and the desired level:
Current Level 1 2 3 4 5 6 Desired level 1 0 1 3 6 10 15 2 / 0 2 5 9 14 3 / / 0 3 7 12 4 / / / 0 4 9 5 / / / / 0 5
While the potions themselves were relatively cheap, using one would incur a large additional kama cost (the higher a character's level the higher the cost). This cost significantly decreased though with the 1.17 update though.
