I have seen several people with the royal tofu as a pet/hostage but what does it do or what reward does it give

Completed the dungeon today with 612 PP +living chest and dropped royal feathers and a vibrating royal feather. Even with living chest, it doesn't come out to 800+ PP. I'll add that I failed both challenges.
