The Bow Meow's lament is a quest.

Obtaining

Talk to Soki at [7,-16] in Astrub City.

Dialog
Meeeooow! *This Bow Meow looks sad!* Try to find out why Miaow? *You don't understand what he wants. Maybe he's thirsty? He probably needs a bowl of mimilk.* Go fetch him some mimilk.

Step 1: Some Mimilk for a Bow Meow

Bring some mimilk for the miserable Bow Meow.

• Bring to Soki: x1 Mimilk

Buy 1 Mimilk from the Inn at [5,-17] and bring it to Soki

Dialog
Miaow? *You don't understand what he wants. Maybe he's thirsty? He probably needs a bowl of mimilk.* Give mimilk.

You lose 1 Mimilk.

Step 2: Some Foofood

Ask the people you meet what a medium-sized Bow Meow eats. Then bring a bit of food to this Bow Meow.

Dialog
*The Bow Meow smells the mimilk, laps it up a little bit, then empties its bowl* *It then resumes its melancholy complaint* Meeeooow Go on helping him/her. *He might be hungry now* *You should find out what a Bow Meow eats and go get some*

• Get information and bring food

Bring him 4 Gudgeon, 4 Grawn or 1 Tofu Egg

Step 3: A Bow Meow's Walk

Take the Bow Meow for a walk round town.

Talk to Soki and enjoy the cut scene.

Dialog
*Maybe you can take him for a little walk around the village, it would do him good. If you want a nice walk, you can go through the park, then smell the yummy cooked fish at the marketplace, then smell the florist's flowers, and finally you can come back here*

You acquire the character Soki (item).

• Find map Fish fair

Drag select right then down from → to see spoiler.

→ [0,-18] (the Fishermens' Market)

• Find map Florist lady's door

[-1,-20] at the western gate

• Find map Fountain of Brutas

[3,-18], the small Park

• Find map Starting position [7,-16]

Visit all places, then return to Soki's Original location [7,-16]. You lose Soki (item). Talk to Soki again.

Dialog
*The Bow Meow looks exhausted. It sits back, looks around and meows again* Meoooww Think about it. *You suddenly understand why... it's the pink Bow Meowette over there! But what can you do to draw her attention to him? You need to find something to make her notice him.

Step 4: Bow Meow hero?

Find out how to make a hero out of this frail Bow Meow in the eyes of its companion.

• Search for and provide what's needed to turn Bow Meow into a hero

Drag select right then down from → to see spoiler.

→ Get 1 Moumouse and talk to Soki. The easiest way to obtain one is by completing the first step of the quest Poor TwitTwit at [5,-18]. (don't talk to granny after fight). You will lose your Moumouse but the Poor TwitTwit quest is repeatable.

*You suddenly understand why... it's the pink Bow Meowette over there! But what can you do to draw her attention to him? You need to find something to make her notice him. Jam the MouMouse into the bow-meow's mouth.
